No. It shows time between dates. It does not automatically verify a completed reading session, workout or other daily action. Choose the daily check-in mode when you want to record completed days. Continuous elapsed-time counters and daily check-ins measure different things.

Yes. Both are available on the App Store and Google Play. Calendar import on iOS, Live Activities and Dynamic Island have platform or device requirements; feature sets are not identical across platforms.

No. Countdown widgets are available to free users. Custom photo backgrounds, some advanced themes, Live Activities and other features may require Premium. Check the current app for available features and purchases.

On iPhone, touch and hold an empty area of the Home Screen, enter Edit or Add Widget, then find the app and choose a size. On Android, touch and hold the Home Screen, open Widgets, find the app and drag a widget into place. Labels vary by OS and launcher. If the app is missing, open it once and try again.

Check the event date and reminder time first. Confirm reminders are enabled in the app and notifications are permitted in system settings. Check Focus or Do Not Disturb; on Android, also review battery and background restrictions. Try a new test event a few minutes ahead.

Open the app to check the event, then return to the Home Screen. The operating system schedules widget refreshes, so updates are not guaranteed every second or immediately. If needed, add the widget again and check device power restrictions.

Common reasons are counting the start as day one, comparing all-day dates with exact times, or using different time zones. Use the same convention before comparing. This website’s calculator shows calendar-day difference and does not add an inclusive start day.

Countdown supports weekly, monthly and yearly repeats. Check the next occurrence for month-end dates or February 29. Your provider or official schedule remains the source of truth for bills and appointments.

Use the store account that made the purchase. On iPhone, look under your Apple Account’s subscriptions in Settings; on Android, use Payments & subscriptions in Google Play. Uninstalling an app does not itself cancel a subscription.
