DAYSTREAK · COUNTDOWN

Lived stories. Thoughtful encouragement.

Small steps, fresh starts and meaningful dates deserve care. Sharing is voluntary; treat the person behind each story with respect.

A place for lived stories.

As content becomes easier to generate, we want to leave room for stories people have lived themselves.

Small steps and meaningful dates

A routine kept, a new beginning, a day remembered. Ordinary moments deserve care.

Share at your own pace

Choose each record, story and photo. A memory kept for yourself is just as precious.

Encourage with care

Notice the person behind the count. Respect different journeys without ranking, comparison or pressure.

  • Share your own experiences honestly. AI may help with wording or translation; do not present invented experiences as your own or impersonate another person.
  • Encourage with kindness. Do not belittle a small start, compare people by streak length or pressure someone to share more. Respect different rhythms and pauses.
  • A private memory has the same value as a public one. Respect the details someone keeps to themselves, and their choice to pause or withdraw.
  • Publish your own content. Do not impersonate others or disclose someone else’s private details, images or messages.
  • No harassment, threats, hate, sexual exploitation, illegal content, scams, copyright infringement or repetitive reward farming.
  • Do not share identifying details about children, including faces, school classes, precise location or private documents. Child sexual abuse and exploitation are prohibited.
  • The community does not accept records about health, treatment, addiction, sex life, religion or other sensitive personal topics. A neutral title alone does not remove sensitive information.
  • Sharing is always optional and chosen item by item: each card, story and photo. Rewards apply only to the record you shared, and only while it stays public. Premium does not depend on sharing, and export and deletion are always free.
  • New cards and stories, and changes to their text and photos, are reviewed before they become visible. Review checks safety and these rules; it does not verify every story or count. We may hide or remove content and tell you why; you can appeal by email.
  • Use the report form for privacy or safety concerns; no account is needed. Reviewers see reports privately, the person reported is not told who reported them, and a report never transfers ownership.

Sharing, encouragement and custom profiles are for adults aged 18 and over. Anyone can read reviewed public content.

Report content with the report form. For appeals, takedown requests or questions, email [email protected].

Edit the public copy

Edit the title and description others see; your app’s record is not changed. Numbers and dates follow the record in your app. A change is reviewed before it replaces the public version (clearing the description applies at once).

Live card · numbers, pauses and look update automatically; text and photo changes are reviewed. What’s public? ›

This is a live card. It updates by itself when you check in, reset, pause, archive, or change dates, colour or icon. Title, description and photo changes are reviewed first; the approved version stays up meanwhile.

Also public: your time zone as a UTC offset (e.g. GMT+8), the last check-in date and the day it last changed. Anyone can save public content.

Private notes, memory stories and time capsules are never included. Stored on the Daystreak community server (Cloudflare, EU).

Publishing shares this card in both apps and on daystreak.net and keeps it updated from this record.

Submit story for sharing again

The parent record must be public and approved before a story can be shared. Reopening the parent does not automatically reopen stories.

Later edits to notes you’ve shared are sent for review automatically; new notes are never added without asking.
